"Just want to say that my husband and I like to travel .... and especially like great deals. This place is a GREAT DEAL. Nice rooms, nice breakfast, nice cost of room..... and a refrigerator in each room...Unbelivable! And the service is outstanding. The owners truly care about each and every person that stays with them. They are completely remodeling each and every room to ensure comfort for their customers. I know I will be sending all my friends there that are heading that way"

"Traveling from Denver to St. Louis in March of 2011. Left Denver at 2 o'clock pm, heading east to st. Louis becoming tired at 8pm. Looking for motel on I-70 and in western Kansas. Not wanting the big chains seeking value, looking for independent motel, going past hays, and seeing russell inn signs for last 27 miles, I decide to stop in Russell. I check in at 9pm and indian family welcomes me. Daughter checks me in, only $39. Check into room 201, nice room, plenty of blankets, excellent heater, good night rest, and complimentary breakfast. Greatful to meet owner and family and talk. We'll recommend the Russell Inn to family and friends!"

"A must stay on you way west: I had business in Salina, but Russell was not that much farther away, and I was nicely surprised and pleased for the price of the room. Everthing about the Inn was nice. Clean, quiet away from the interstate noise, breakfast, pet friendly. The management was very nice, helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed for an enjoyable stay. I did, was very peaceful and restful, so I stayed an extra night, and have put it in my choices of places to stay everytime. It is truly worth the drive."

"We will be back!!: We own a business and travel across the U.S. We stay in alot of motels and have had some bad experiences. The Russell in was great. The people were extremely friendly. The rooms are spacious , clean , the bed was comfortable it was quiet and it was very affordable. We stayed for several days and left our belongings in the room while we worked and everything was fine. We will go back..!"
